deities who are residing in the various Universes may you come here and listen to the sacred teaching of the Buddha, which can yield the divine bliss and perfect inner peace。

deities, this is the right time to listen to the teaching of the Buddha。

I pay respect to the Blessed One, the Exalted One and the fully Enlightened One (the Buddha)。

Those who are tranquil and peaceful in mind, who have taken refuge in the triple gem (the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha), in this world and others。 the deities of terrestrial and celestial spheres who are always anxious to accumulate wholesome deeds。 the deity (the King of gods) who is residing on royal Meru, the majestic mountain - all those virtuous ones may come here in unity to listen to the noble words of the Buddha, which are the cause of contentment。

The demons, deities and the Brahma-gods in all Universes may rejoice in whatever wholesome deeds we have done for the accomplishment of well-being。

Having rejoiced in this sharing of wholesome deeds, may all be comfortable and united in His teachings。 May all be free from negligence especially in the duties protecting people from dangers。

May there always be prosperity in the teaching of the Buddha as well as in the world。 May the deities always look after the religion as well as the world。

May all of you together with your own friends be happy。 May you together with all of your relatives be free from pain, and be joyful。

May the deities take care in protecting people from the dangers of tyrants, robbers, human enemies, non-human beings, conflagrations, floods, demons, tree-stumps, thorns, evil planets, village disease, law-breakers, heretics, vicious men, and of dangers from the wild elephants, horses, beasts, bulls, dogs, serpents, scorpions, copper-head snakes, panthers, bears, hyenas, buffaloes, ogres, devils, etc。 and also of dangers from various fears, various diseases and various disasters。

The meaning of the term "Auspicious thing" had been speculated by deities and men for twelve years, however they could not decide the correct meaning of it。 So, the discourse on the thirty-eight kinds of Auspicious thing ... 。

which can root out all evil and inconvenience, was expounded by the Buddha who is superior to all deities, for the well-being of the entire world。 Dear noble ones! Let us recite the Sutta now。

Thus have I heard: Once the Buddha was residing near Savatthi in the Jeta-vana monastery of Anatha-pindika, (a wealthy merchant of Savatthi)。 Then a certain deity, at midnight, having illuminated the whole Jeta-grove with surpassing splendour, come to the presence of the Buddha。 Having paid respect to Him, he very respectfully stood at a suitable place。 and then addressed the Buddha in verse。

Many deities and men have pondered on auspicious things wishing for the well-being of the entire world。 Please tell us the most auspicious thing。

Not to associate with the fool, but to associate with the wise, and to honour those who are worthy of honour。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Living in a suitable locality, experiencing the fruit of good deeds from the past, and setting oneself in the right course。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Great learning and skill in work, a highly trained discipline, and well-spoken speech。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Looking after one's mother and father, caring for one's wife and children, and engaging in peaceful occupations: this is the most auspicious thing。

Generosity, righteousness life, caring for one's relatives, and doing blameless deeds。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Giving up and avoiding evil deeds, not drinking intoxicants, and diligence in righteousness。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Reverence, humility, contentment, gratitude, and timely listening to the Dhamma。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Patience, obedience, meeting monks, and the timely discussing the Dhamma。 this is the most auspicious thing。

When experienced worldly conditions, one's mind remains unshaken, freedom from anxiety, purity of mental defilement and perfectly freedom from suffering。 this is the most auspicious thing。

Those who have done such auspicious things are undefeated by all enemies, and gain happiness everywhere。 these are the most auspicious things。

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on jewel, aka Yadana Sutta

Recalling all these virtuous of the Buddha such as: - starting from the time of his noble bow (pledged in the presence of Lord Dipankara Buddha, to become a Buddha) the Tathagata had fulfilled all the thirty kinds of Perfection (Paramita) which are the ten kinds of ordinary Perfection, the ten kinds of superior Perfection and the ten types of supreme Perfection。 the five great sacrifices, the three modes of practices, namely the practice for the well-being of the world, for the well-being of relatives and for the attainment of Enlightenment, and that he has been naturally conceived in his the last existence, his birth, the great renunciation, the practice of austerity。 the conquest upon the five types of Mara under the Bo-tree。 the attainment of enlightenment, delivering the sermon of Middle way。 and the nine supra-mundane laws, Reverend Ananda Thera, did the protective recitation throughout the three watches of the night within the three walls of the city of Vesali。 Having established such a sympathetic mind as Rev。 Ananda did,

the glory of which had been accepted by the deities who have assembled in the hundred-thousand billion of universes, and in the city of Vesali。

by the power of which the three types of disasters, that broke out due to epidemic diseases, non-human beings, and famine were also rooted out promptly。 Dear noble one! Let us recite this Sutta for protection。

Whatever beings are assembled here, whether terrestrial or celestial, may all beings be happy, and also listen attentively to what is said。

Therefore, O beings, please pay all your attention。 give your loving-kindness towards mankind who day and night bring offerings to you。 Protect them, therefore, with earnestness。

Whatever treasure there be either here or in the other world, or whatever precious jewel is in the heavenly worlds, yet there is none comparable with the Tathagata。 This precious jewel(holiness) indeed lies in the Buddha。 By this truth may there be peace。

That cessation of craving, detachment, and holy immortality have been realised by the perfectly meditated Sakyam-Sage。 There is no equal ideal to this Dhamma。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Dhamma。 By this truth may there be peace。

The supreme Buddha praised pure meditation nothing gives instantaneous results。 There is nothing equal to that meditation。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Dhamma。 By this truth may there be peace。

The eight individuals are praised by good people。 They constitute the four pairs。 They are the disciples of the Buddha, worthy of offerings。 Whatever is offered to them yields abundant fruit。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Those who are freed from desires are well established in the teaching of Gotama Buddha with firm mind。 They have already attained that which should be attained, having realised Nibbana。 They enjoy the inner peace obtained without obligation。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

As a post deep planted in the earth stands unshaken by the winds blast from four directions, so also I declare the righteous man is unshaken who see the Noble Truths through discriminating wisdom。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Even though they, who developed the Noble Truths well expounded by the Lord of Profound Wisdom may be exceedingly careless, they do not take an eight existence (in the realm of Kamabumi)。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Simultaneously with his accomplishment of insight, three mental aspects are abandoned namely, individualism, doubt and indulgence in futile right and rituals, and other mental defilement it there be any。

He is also free from the four lower world, and does not commit the six major unwholesome deeds any more。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Though he may still do evil deeds physically, verbally or mentally, yet he never conceals。 Since it has been proclaimed that such concealing is impossible for one who has seen the Path。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Just like (the glory of) the woodland groves crowned with blossoms in the early summer month, even so the glory of the sublime (Dhamma) doctrine was expounded for the supreme prosperity leading towards Nibbana。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Buddha。 By this truth may there be peace。

The Glorious One, who knows the glory, delivers the glory, brings the glory, and is the peerless exponent of the glorious doctrine。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Buddha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Their past Kamma is exhausted, and the new one arises no more。 The lust for future becoming is detached。 The seed of rebirth has been exhausted and they have no more desire for growing again。 As this lamp-flame extinguishes away, the wise men pass away (into Nibbana)。 This holy jewel indeed lies in the Sangha。 By this truth may there be peace。

Whatever beings are assembled here, whether terrestrial or celestial, let us pay respect to the Buddha who is honoured by gods and men。 May there be peace!

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on loving-kindness, aka metta sutta

Due to the glorious power of this Sutta about loving-kindness, spirits dare not disclose the frightful sights。 One, who self devotes this Sutta day and night diligently,

sleeps soundly, and does not see any nightmare。 Dear noble ones! Let us recite this Sutta endowed with such and other qualities。

He who is skilled in well-being, who wishes to attain that calm state (Nibbana), should act thus。 he should be able, upright, perfectly, upright, of noble speech, gentle and humble。

Contented, of light livelihood, easily supportable with few duties, with senses calmed, discreet, not impudent, not strongly attached to families。

He should not pursue the slightest thing for which other wise men might censure him。 He should contemplate thus: may all beings be cheerful and be endowed with a happy and secure life。

Whatever breathing beings there may be, the frail ones or the firm creatures, with no exception, tall or stout, short or medium-sized, thin or fat。

those who are seen or unseen, those who are dwelling far or near, those who are already born or still seeking to become born, may all these be endowed with happy life。

Let not one be angry with another, let one not despise anyone in any place。 By means of physical and verbal provocation or by frustrated enmity, let one not wish other's suffering。

Just like a mother would protect her baby, the only child, with her life, even so towards all beings let one cultivate the boundless spirit of love。

Let him radiate the boundless rays of love towards the entire world: above, below, and across without any obstruction, without any hatred and enmity。

While standing, walking, sitting, or reclining, as long as he awake without sloth, let him devote himself to this mindfulness。 This is called in this religion as "Noble living" (Holy life)。

If the meditator, without falling into wrong view (Egoism) be virtuous, and endowed with perfect insight, and has expelled passion in sensual desire, he will surely never come again to be born in any womb。

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on body protection from poisonous creatures, aka Khandha Sutta

Just like the divine charms and divine drugs, this Khandha Sutta nullifies the baneful poison and the other perils of all the highly poisonous creatures。

In this scope of (the Buddha's) jurisdiction, everywhere, always for all beings, and by all means, this Sutta does prevent (the disasters)。 Oh noble ones! Let us recite this preventive Sutta now。

May my love be with Virupakkha snakes。

with Erapatha snakes may there be my love, May my love be with Chabyaputta snakes。 With Kanhnagotamaka snakes may there be my love too。

With footless creatures may there be my love。 May my love be with bipeds。 with quadrupeds may there be my love。 may my love be with creatures with many feet。

May the footless hurt me not。 may the bipeds hurt me not。 may the quadrupeds may hurt me not。 may the creature with many feet hurt me not。

All the sentient creature and all breathing ones, all beings without exception, all may see the happy sights, and may not fall into any evil。

The Buddha is infinite。 infinite is the Dhamma。 the Sangha is infinite。 finite and measurable are creeping things such as snakes, scorpions, centipedes, spiders, lizards and rats。

have guarded myself。 I have protected myself。 Let all dangerous beings to away。 Here I pay respect to the glorious One (the Buddha) And to the Seven Buddhas do I honour。

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on the peacock's protection

The Great Being (the Buddha-to-be) was born as a peacock, accumulating the necessary requirements for obtaining Enlightenment, and having arranged protection for himself by means of this protective Sutta。

Although the hunters strove for quite a long time, they were not able to capture Him, the Great Being。 This was prescribed by Lord Buddha as an Exalted Charm。 Oh noble ones! Let us recite this protective Sutta。

There rises the golden one(the sun), helping beings to see things, the sole monarch in the world, making the earth bright with golden light。 I adore it with the golden light making the world bright。 Keep me safe, I pray, through the coming day。

The saints, the righteous, the wise in the entire holy lore: I adore them, and they may protect me。 Honour to the Buddhas and to their enlightenment, honour to those who released from bondage and to their deliverance。 Having make this protection, the peacock went about to seek food。

There sets the golden one (the sun), helping beings to see things, the sole monarch in the world, making the earth bright with golden light。 I adore it with the golden light making the world bright。 Keep me safe, I pray, through the night, till the next day。

The saints, the righteous, the wise in the entire holy lore: I adore them, and they may protect me。 Honour to the Buddhas and to their enlightenment, honour to those who released from bondage and to their deliverance。 Having made this protection, the peacock rested happily at night。

By the power of this Sutta, the forest-fire passed over the Great Being (the Buddha-to-be) who was born as a quail, accumulating the necessary requirements for obtaining the Enlightenment。

Oh noble ones! Let us recite this Sutta, which was expounded by the Buddha to the Elder Sariputta, and which will last for aeons, being endowed with mighty powers。

There's saving grace in virtue in this world。 there is truth, purity of life, and compassion, thereby。 I'll work a matchless Act of truth。

Remembering the law's might, reflecting on those who triumphed in the days gone by, and depending on the might of truth, an Act of Truth I wrought。

with wings I can't fly, with feet I can't walk。 forsaken by my parents。 here I am alone。 Oh forest-fire, please recede。

I wrought my Act of Truth, and there with, the blazing fire waived for sixteen hectares unscathed-like flames by water met and quen-ched。 There is no equal to my affirmation of Truth。 This is my perfection of truth。

Just even by recollecting this Sutta, the creature gets the foothold even in the sky, by all means, just like on the ground。

The number of those who had emancipated from the net-work of all dangers created by devils, robbers, thieves and others, is indeed innumerable。 Oh noble ones! Let us recite this protective discourse now。

Thus I have heard: - The Exalted One once stayed at the Jetavana in Savatthi, the pleasure park of Anatha-pindika。 There and then he addressed the disciples on the this incident。

Long ago, Bhikkhus, a battle was raging between the gods and the titans。 Then Sakka, the ruler of the gods addressed the Tavatimsa Gods, saying。 "If in you, dear sirs, when you are gone onto battle, fear, panic, and creeping of the flesh should arise, look up at the crest of my banner。 If you do so, any fear, panic, and creeping of flesh that will have arisen will overcome。

If you look not up at the crest of my banner, look up at that of Pajapati, king of the gods。 If you do so, any fear, panic, and creeping of flesh that will have arisen will be overcome。

If you look not up at the crest of Pajapati's banner, look up at that of Varuna, king of the gods。 If you do so, any fear and creeping of flesh that will have arisen will be overcome。

If you look not up at the crest of Varuna's banner, look up at that of Isana, king of the gods。 If you do so, any fear, and panic that will have arisen will be overcome。

Now, Bhikkhus, in them that look up at the crest one or other of these four banners, any fear, panic, and creeping of the flesh that has arisen may be overcome or may not。

And why is this? Because Sakka, the ruler of the gods, is not free from passions, hatred, and delusion。 He is timid, given to panic, to fright and to running away。

But I say thus to you, Bhikkhus: if in you when you have gone into forests, to the leafy trees and to empty places, fear, panic, and creeping of the flesh should arise, in that hour only call me to your mind。

This Exalted one, is able, Supremely enlightened, Proficient in knowledge and in conduct, the Blessed One, Understands the world, Peerless tamer of the hearts of men, the Master of gods and men, the Buddha and the Exalted One。

For if you so call me to mind, Bhikkhus, your fear, panic, and creeping of flesh that will have arisen will be overcome。

If you cannot call me to mind, call the Dhamma to your mind and think。

Well proclaimed by the Exalted One is the Dhamma relating to the present, immediate in its results, inviting and challenging all, giving guidance, appealing to each, and to be understood by the wise。

For if you so call the Dhamma to mind, Bhikkhus, your fear, panic, and creeping of flesh that will have arisen will be overcome。

If you cannot call the Dhamma to mind, call the Sangha to your mind and think。

Well practised is the Exalted One's Order of Disciples, practised in integrity, in intellectual methods, in right lines of action - to with the four pairs, the eight groups of persons。 - this is the Exalted One's Order of disciples worthy of offerings, oblations, gifts, salutations, the world's peerless field for merit。

For if you so call the Sangha to mind, Bhikkhus, your fear, panic, and creeping of flesh that will have arisen will be overcome。

And why is this? Because the Tathagata, Bhikkhus, is Arahant, Supremely Enlightened, purged of passion, hatred and illusion, without timidity or panic or fright, and flesh not。

Thus said the Exalted One, and the Blessed One so saying, the Master spoke yet further。-

Whenever in forest or in leafy trees or lonely empty places you abide, call to your mind, Bhikkhus, the Enlightened One。 no fear, no sense of peril will you know。

Or if you cannot think upon the Buddha - the most senior of the world, the chief of men then call the Dhamma to mind, the well taught guide。

Or if you cannot think upon the Law (Dhamma) - the well-taught doctrine where in guidance lies - then turn your thoughts to the Sangha unrivalled field where men may sow good deeds。

If you in Buddha, Law, and Order (Sangha) thus refuge take, fear, panic, and creeping of the flesh will never rise。

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on the protection from non-human beings, aka Atanatiya Sutta

In order that the hostile non-human beings, who are always evil-doers and who do not have faith in this well-esteemed religion of the Lord Buddha,

may not injure the four social classes, and may protect society from dangers。 The Almighty one has expounded this discourse of protection。 Oh noble ones! Let us recite this Atanatiya Sutta now。

Homage to Vipassi Buddha, possessed of the eyes of enlightenment and of glory。 And homage to Sikhi Buddha, the most compassionate towards all beings。

Homage also to Vessabhu Buddha, washed clean from all kinds of mental defilement and endowed with ascetic spirit。 Homage to Kakusandha Buddha too, the conqueror of the army of Death (Mara)

Homage to Konagamana Buddha, who had abandoned all evils, and lives the holy life。 Homage also to Kassapa Buddha, who had been free from all kinds of mental defilement。

Homage to the Buddha Gotama, whose body shone with radiating halo, the son of Sakyan and with glory, who expounded this doctrine which eradicates all sufferings。

Whosoever have extinguished the flames of passion in the world, they have seen thoroughly the natural phenomena as they really are。 These persons never slander, but they are noble, and free from fear。

They worship Gotama Buddha, the benefactor of gods and men, endowed with knowledge and good conduct, noble and fearless。

These seven and other hundred billons of self-enlightened Buddhas are all equally peerless ones。 All Buddhas are powerful ones。

All are endowed with ten strengths。 they are equipped with courage。 All these Buddhas admitted to be the knowers of the supreme state of Enlightenment。

These Buddhas expound bravely to the audience like the lion-oar。 they propagate the Noble Wheel of Law in the world which cannot be done ordinary people。

These Patrons are equipped with eighteen virtues of the Buddha's Dhamma。 they are born with thirty-two major characteristics and eighty minor characteristics of the great man。

All these Buddhas are noble sages who shine with the surrounding halo of about the length of one-stretched arm。 These are all Omniscient Ones, Conquerors of Mara (Death) who have uprooted the mental defilement。

They all are endowed with immense radiating light, of almighty power, of infinite wisdom, and of immutable strength。 They are most compassionate and industrious benefactors of all beings。

They all are the Islands, the Lords, the Foot-holds, the Protectors, the Secured haven of the creatures。 The Transcendental Goals, the Relatives, the Glorious Saviours, the Refuges and the Well-wishers。

They all are revered by the world of gods and men。 I solute them touching their feet with my head。

I pay homage to these Tathagatas by means of word and thought always, even when I am lying, sitting, standing or walking。

The Buddhas, the peace-makers may always protect you to be happy。 By these Buddhas, may you be protected so that you may be liberated from calamities。

May you be emancipated from all diseases。 May you be free from all scorching worries。 May you overcome all enemies。 And may you be blissful。

By the power of their truth, virtue, patience, loving-kindness and might, they may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

In the Eastern region, there are powerful great deities。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

In the Southern region, there are powerful great gods。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

In the Western region, there are powerful great dragon snakes。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

In the Northern region, there are powerful great ogres。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

King Datarattha in the east, King Virulhaka in the south, King Virupakkha in the west, King Kuvera in the north,

these four Kings are famous guardian sprits of the world。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

There are great powerful gods and dragons, residing in the sky, and on the earth。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

There are some powerful deities residing within the jurisdiction of this religion。 They may also protect us to be healthy and happy。

May all the dangers be eradicated。 May worry and illness be dispelled。 May calamities not occur to you。 May you be blissful and long-lived。

To those who are endowed with the nature of piety, and who always revere the elders, these four benefits shall prosper namely, longevity, beauty, happiness and strength。

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on Thera Augulimala, aka Angulimala Sutta

Even the water that washed the seat of the one who recited this discourse of protection has put an end to all danger。

That very paritta discourse has the power to accomplish the labour of child-birth healthy。 This is the paritta Sutta which had been expounded by the Lord of the words to reverend Angulimala。 The great magical power of which may last long for the entire aeon。 Oh noble ones! Let us recite this discourse of protection。

Sister, in my awareness, I have not intentionally killed any living thing of life since I was born of Ariyan birth。 By this truth may there be well-being for you, and well-being for your child。

sutta in Pali ..., taught as, translated as, The discourse on the factors of enlightenment, aka Bojjhanga Sutta

These seven types of Dhamma are the factors of enlightenment, which eradicate all the suffering of the creatures who are transmigrating in the universal flux, and which suppress the army of Death。

Having realised these seven types of Dhamma the beings had attained the immortality, fearlessness, the end of birth, the end of decay and the end of sickness。 they became transcendental and liberated from three kinds of existence。

Endowed with such and other qualifications altogether with innumerable qualities, this is a medical spell。 Oh noble ones! let us recite that Sutta。

The factors of Enlightenment are mindfulness, investigation of the Dhamma, effort, rapture, tranquility, and other factors of enlightenment such as

concentration, and equanimity。 All these seven are well expounded by the Buddha。 cultivated and repeatedly practised by the sage -

in order to discern profoundly, to realise the wisdom, and to attain Nibbana。 by the affirmation of truth, may I be happy forever。

At one time, the Buddha saw Rev。 Moggalana and Rev。 Kassapa suffering and sick, and he expounded the seven factors of Enlightenment。

The two elders also were delighted to hear it, and at that very moment were liberated from the sickness。 By this affirmation of truth, may I be happy forever。

Once even the King of Dhamma, the Buddha himself, was afflicted by sickness, then the Elder Cunda was requested to recite the very doctrine with due reverence。

Being delighted the Buddha rose up thereupon from that sickness。 By this affirmation of truth, may I be happy forever。

Just as the all kinds of mental defilement, annihilated by Magga consciousness, can arise again no more, in like the manner these ailments were eradicated from the three great Sages。 By this affirmation of truth, may I be happy forever。

The unlucky omen, the inauspicious event, the unpleasant scream of evil birds, the undesirable dreadful planet and miserable nightmare, may all these be gone to disappear by the glory of the Buddha。

The unlucky omen, the inauspicious event, the unpleasant scream of evil birds, the undesirable dreadful planet and miserable nightmare, may all these be gone to disappear by the glory of the Dhamma。

The unlucky omen, the inauspicious event, the unpleasant scream of evil birds, the undesirable dreadful planet and miserable nightmare, may all these be gone to disappear by the glory of the Sangha。

May all living beings who are suffering be saved not to suffer。 may those who are frightened be encouraged not to fear。 may those who are in anxiety be cheered up no to be disappointed。

To such an extent we have accomplished the meritorious fulfilment。 May all the deities rejoice in these accomplishment。 In order to achieve all types of accomplishments,

may you give charity with full devoted faith。 may you observe the precepts constantly。 may you enjoy peacefully in meditation。 And all the deities who are present here may return to their respective abodes。

There is a certain strength of wisdom of all the Universal Buddha, all individual Buddhas, and all Arahants who had attained the Supreme Might。 By the power of this strength, I fortify the protection all around me。

Whatever treasure there be either here or in the world beyond, whatever precious stone, there is no equality with the Tathagata。 This precious jewel is also in the Buddha。 By this affirmation of the truth, may you be happy。

May all the auspices be with you。 May all the deities protect you。 By the glorious power of all the Sangha, may you be happy now and forever。

The most compassionate Lord had fulfilled all the required Perfection, for the welfare of all beings, and had attained the Supreme Enlightenment。 By this affirmation of the truth, may you be blissful now and forever。

Just as the Buddha, the most affectionate of the Sakyas had triumphed through, at the foot of the Bo-tree, so also may the victory be to me and may I be successful in all the auspicious conquests。

On the noble Seat, above the summit of the most sacred earth, being consecrated by all the Buddhas, the Lord attained the Supreme Stage and rejoiced。 (in like the manner may I rejoice too。)

May good planets, good blessings, good dawn, good awakening, good moment, good instance and offering good oblations to the Noble Sages be to me。

May the physical act be sacred, the verbal act be sacred, and the mental act be sacred。 May I you be established in these sacred things。

Having done the sacred acts, may you obtain the sacred gains。 and having obtained the sacred issues, may you be happy and prosper in the teaching of the Buddha。 May you altogether with all your kinsmen be happy, and be free from all types of disease。
